The Legend of Trucido
In Greece, there was a city of nervous and fearful men. These men were so fearful, that the slightest creak of the floorboards beneath their feet, or the faintest sounds of an owl hooting at night made them tremble. This city was called Formido, and no one understood why the people there were so struck with nervousness and fear. The most peculiar thing of all however was that the city had not always been this way, and that once, brave heroes had lived there; those who left the city lost their fear, but as long as you remained in the city, you could not shake this feeling of terrible dread.
One man, named Trucido, ventured to Formido from his
